To set up a mail account using Microsoft Outlook, please follow these steps:
- Open Outlook.
- Click Tools on the main menu and then click Account Settings.
- Click New and choose Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP from the options.
- Choose Manually Configure server settings or additional server types on Auto Account Setup.
- In the Internet Email settings window, enter the Following Information.
- Account Type: POP3
- Enter your name and email address
- Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomainname.com
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.yourdomainname.com
- Enter your username which is your email address and password
- Click More Settings and select Outgoing Server
- Choose My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and Use Same Settings.
- Click OK
- Click Next then you're finished!
